Look Wing Nation – we know it’s a hard year to do an ask for anything. But despite it being abnormal times, we are still heading into the Holidays and the need for frozen turkeys is as high as ever. So, for the 6th year in a row, we are hosting our Turkey Drive and collecting frozen turkey donations for the Food Bank for Larimer County, Weld County Food Bank, Needs Inc., and Our Center. Since the demand is so high this year, we have teamed up with our friends at Nosh to DOUBLE up the incentive to donate with Wing Shack. Here’s all the details: Starting November 4th, bring your frozen turkey donation to any Wing Shack location and we will make sure it gets to your local food bank or pantry. Cameron Peak Fire Fundraiser
Updated October 19th, 2020: Thanks to everyone that dined with us this past weekend. We raised just under $7500! Thanks for helping us spread the #WingLove THIS WEEKEND ONLY (October 16th, 17th, and 18th) 5% OF ALL SALES AT ALL WING SHACK LOCATIONS WILL BE DONATED DIRECLY TO THE AMERICAN RED CROSS AND OUR LOCAL VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENTS All fund raised will go directly to help with both victim assistance and the firefighters on the frontlines: American Red Cross Glen Haven Area Volunteer Fire Department Red Feather Lakes Volunteer Fire Department Rist Canyon Volunteer Fire Department For more information on the Cameron Peak Fire and other ways to provide support, click here. HELP SUPPORT THE COLORADO RESTAURANT ASSOCIATION’S ANGEL RELIEF FUND Dear Friends – these are unprecedented times we are living in and our industry has seen dramatic changes over the course of a few short weeks. We have watched in stunned disbelief as some of our favorite local eateries have had to make very difficult decisions when it comes to staff. The human cost that this disruption has already created is tremendous and many of our fellow restaurant employees have already found themselves in dire straits. Because the future is still very uncertain, we are launching a fundraiser for the Colorado Restaurant Association’s Angel Relief Fund. This fund is currently providing direct financial aid to restaurant and food & beverage service hospitality workers who are affected by Coronavirus (COVID-19). Starting immediately, you can now purchase a Wing Shack branded pint glass for $5 and 100% of the sales will be donated back to the Angel Relief
Food and COVID-19
We know there is a lot of concern and misinformation about the transmission of COVID-19 – here is some helpful information about ordering takeout: CDC, FDA, and USDA are not aware of any reports at this time that suggest COVID-19 can be transmitted by food or food packaging. There is no current indication that takeout meals will increase illness. In an effort to be overly cautious, Wing Shack has moved all orders to contact free curbside pick up. You can learn more about our new curbside pick up here. Similar to takeout, food delivery helps maintain social distancing and reduces the number of touch points between preperation and serving of food. All Wing Shack locations offer delivery via a 3rd party delivery service. The delivery services we use have also instituted a no touch/no interaction option, which further reduces risk. Actions we are taking in response to Coronavirus
In response to the spread of COVID-19, we will only offer carry out and delivery orders at all seven of our Wing Shack locations. To decrease person to person contact, we are also offering a curbside pick up option. Simply place your order ahead of time and then pull into one of our designated spots and call the store with your spot number and we will bring your order out to your car.
